"Doors of Perception" by Aldous Huxley (AudioBook Narration)

Rudolph was greatly pleased when he was asked to record the voiceover narration for Aldous Huxley's "Doors of Perception". The two were old friends, and it is indeed a pity that this recording was done after Huxley had died.

Air Force

Rudolph Schirmer initially served in the Air Force, until he was forced to resign his duties due to severe, recurring attacks of asthma. Below is a rare photo from his period in the Air Force.
However, due to the fact that he was fluent in French, German and Italian, Rudolph went on to serve his country in the Army Intelligence (Field Interrogation Unit). He served bravely in Europe throughout the remainder of the war, interrogating enemy prisoners.
I discovered this photo quite by chance. In fact, I did not know my father had been in the Air Force. While doing a random google search, I came upon his name on a WWII memorabilia site, Daniel's WW2. The listing had his photo, his name and address as it was printed on the back. I contacted the collector, and much to my surprise, he was about 30 minutes away. Needless to say, I paid him a visit, and he was kind enough to give me this photo. Thank you, Daniel!
